THE BALLROOM

On one entire floor of Bvlgari Hotel London, the stunning Ballroom, dedicated to Giorgio and Costantino Bulgari, seats up to 150 guests for lunch, dinner, an exclusive conference, charity ball or 280 guests for a reception. Handcraf ted solid silver chandeliers dominate the Ballroom. Designed and made exclusively for Bvlgari by Padgham and Putland Silversmiths, they are set to become the most impressive pair of silver ware pieces made this century. The entire space is served by the latest sophisticated lighting and technology, including a professional Bose loudspeaker and ambient music system, plus high-speed WiFi. The Ballroom Foyer area features a built-in bar of ribbed steel, glass and mirrors, and a cupola lined with white gold mosaic, created by Italian artisans.

THE PRIVATE CINEMA

The Private Cinema, dedicated to Sir Richard At tenborough, is a unique 47-seat cinema and screening room. Offering the ultimate exclusive experience, it features the most advanced cinema quality HD sound and vision, 4K resolution in 2D or the latest Dolby 3D. A curated library has over 300 new and classic films. As well as hosting film premieres and private screenings, the multi-function room is ideal for press events and corporate presentations. There is ever y feature one would expect including live screening and playback of broadcast , integrated technology with individual electronic voting and microphones as well as dedicated Audio Visual Support. The room is perfectly insulated to ensure zero sound reverberations.

RESTAURANTS AND BARS

  • SETTE BY SCARPETTA –Sette by Scarpetta is London’s modern Italian restaurant from New York City’s Scarpetta restaurant family; bringing authentic Italian food from the heart of Manhattan with its own inimitable flair.

    Open daily, Sette continues a tradition of sourcing excellent seasonal and local ingredients, and crafting freshly baked breads and its famous homemade pastas, including the renowned Scarpetta classic – spaghetti with tomato and basil.

    Aperitivo is served each evening at Sette’s bar with cocktails and cicchetti bites, and tucked away at the back of the restaurant is a private dining room for up to 18 guests. Housed on the ground floor of the hotel and operated independently, Sette has its own entrance at 4 Knightsbridge Green.

  • NOLITA SOCIAL – In true ‘Dolce Vita’ style, the evenings continue after dinner at Sette, downstairs in the underground bar, Nolita Social. Named after New York’s most charming neighbourhood, North of Little Italy, Nolita Social brings the energy of ‘the New York night’ to London, with a heady mix of crafted cocktails, live music and DJs. Knightsbridge finally has a fun after hours hangout perfect for light-hearted revelry.

Open to guests and a restricted membership from 6.30am until 10.00pm the Spa and fitness centre at the Bvlgari offers a unique universe of wellness five storeys beneath, and a world away from the fast paced bustle of modern metropolitan life. This tranquil, spacious and blissfully uncrowded two storey complex comprises fitness room, steam rooms, saunas, ice showers, 11 treatment rooms, one luxurious private spa suite and a relaxation room with a dramatic vertical fireplace and offers an urban oasis of experiences that soothe the mind, invigorate the body and revive the senses.
At the heart of the unique Bvlgari Spa experience is the most dramatic private pool complex in central London: the main 25 metre colonnaded swimming pool with its loungers and cabanas is clad in the textured Vicenza stone that has been the signature of great Italian architecture since the time of Palladio Providing a counterpoint to this architectural simplicity is the vitality pool with its variety of full body massage jets, and which, finished with tiny tiles of gold leaf glass, recalls the glittering gorgeousness of the Byzantine mosaics of Venice and Ravenna.

 

 

GUESTROOMS AND SUITES

The 85 light-filled rooms and suites at the hotel are amongst the largest in London. Each is an oasis of calm, comfort and understated luxury. Bvlgari’s attention to detail is evident in the use of exquisite marbles, fine woods and unique detailing such as the 17 times polished Sapele Mahogany wood panels. With furnishings and fabrics made exclusively for Bvlgari, English style blends with Italian heritage. Bvlgari’s history as a jeweller and silversmith is subtly evoked in the Italian damask silk fabrics that feature a floral and foliate pattern inspired by the silver Bvlgari chatelaine, motif from a brooch made by Sotirio Bulgari in the 19th century. The sleek contours, smooth finishes and rounded edges favoured by designer Citterio evoke memories of the golden age of nautical travel; while the mini bar is to be found within a sumptuous leather covered travel trunk built expressly for the Bvlgari. The large bathrooms feature freestanding baths and showers in Marquina marble and white glass. Each bedroom offers a 42” LCD TV (Suites feature an additional 55” LCD TV ) with connections for guest media devices, Nespresso coffee machine, complimentary wireless Internet and Bvlgari amenities.

THE BVLGARI SUITES

Offering unparalleled accommodation of between 160 and up to 220 square meters, the seven Bvlgari Suites are of peerless magnificence and immediately upon the opening of the hotel they set new standards for luxurious accommodation in London and have quickly become some of the world’s most consistently popular signature hotel suites. Each can provide two bedrooms with king size beds, a master bathroom with combined steam and shower room, a contemporary kitchen with the latest appliances, unique Bvlgari silver and museum quality contemporary furnishings in the generous living area with a spacious dining room that accommodates 10 guests.
